Due to our close relationship with the consultants from the West Hertfordshire Hospital Trust we have a wealth of knowledge on a variety of surgical procedures. We have experience interpreting and analysing imaging and scan results to aid understanding of the condition and operation which we find aids recovery.

 

Postoperative treatment can include:

  • Education on the problem 

  • Biomechanical assessment

  • General health assessment

  • Joint mobilisations

  • Exercise therapy

  • Provision of walking aids or supports

  • Pacing guidance to avoid flare up of pain

  • Acupuncture

  • Muscle patterning correction and correction of movement dysfunctions

  • Sports massage

  • Electrotherapy including ultrasound, pulsed shortwave and TENs
